A group of Kava enthusiasts and entrepreneurs would gather every morning to enjoy the ancient medicinal drink that was relatively unknown on the mainland US. Seeing an opportunity to introduce Kava to a broader audience in a friendly and approachable environment, I collaborated closely with the group to develop the branding, store design, promotional materials, and even painted the exterior of the original building.

Kava, derived from the Piper methysticum plant, is a popular beverage or extract in the South Pacific that is traditionally used in relaxation ceremonies. Its name is derived from the Polynesian word "awa," meaning bitter.

With its effects on the brain and central nervous system, kava is commonly used to alleviate anxiety, stress, sleeping problems, drug withdrawal, and various other purposes.
